Foi realizado neste domingo, 18, a 63ª edição do Emmy, considerada a maior premiação da televisão americana, o Oscar da TV. Com cerimônia no Teatro Nokia, em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos, o Emmy 2011 premiou o que de melhor aconteceu na TV no ano. A série "Modern Family" foi um dos destaques da noite, levando três troféus para casa - Melhor Série de Comédia, Melhor Direção e Melhor Roteiro.

Quem apresentou o Emmy 2011 foi a atriz Jane Lynch, da série musical "Glee". Diversas celebridades de Hollywood marcaram presença no Teatro Nokia em Los Angeles. Entre eles até mesmo Charlie Sheen, que está fazendo as "pazes" com Hollywood e desejou até mesmo boa sorte à nova temporada de "Two and a half men", que o demitiu. Ashton Kutcher, seu substituto, também estava presente no Oscar da TV. A série "The Big Bang Theory" também merece destaque, com Jim Parsons como Melhor Ator e Kaley Cuoco brilhando na apresentação.
